About the booklady

Hi! I’ve been the book lady at Freedom since 2005. My family consists of my husband and 2 sons. I’m the only female at my house! We became Georgia Tech fans when my older son attended and graduated from GT. My younger son is a third year student there and we love GT football so much you’ll find us at most home games. Our family enjoys traveling to destinations where my sons and husband can scuba dive. I, however, would rather sit on the beach under an umbrella with a good book, and when I get hot, cool off by snorkeling.
Prior to joining the Freedom staff, I was a choral teacher at Dean Rusk. My loves are music, reading and cooking. If I can help you in any way, please let me know. Having trouble researching? I’d love to help, so just ask!
